The last minute supermarket shopping was done by 10.30,
by bicycle this time.
The last of the cleaning of the deck was finished off
later in the morning. Then a final visit to Nona Isa for some of their yummy
home cooked food.
We now have resume our routine of daily attention to the
weather forecasts. It’s looking good for us to get to the south west corner of
Sardinia over the next two days. The boat is as ready as we need to get going
while we have good weather window. The safely equipment is in place and
most of the jobs on the to do list are ticked of.
We have settled up with boat yard and said our thank yous
and goodbyes to the staff. Suffice to say we’re pretty excited to be leaving,
it being 18 months since this would have happened, if not for the pandemic.
Hopefully we will sleep tonight, but I suspect it won’t be easy
Tricia (and Steve)
